As of February 2023, SCPL is fine free for all! We are proud to remove the barrier of fines for our customers, making it easier for you to read, watch, play, and learn with all of your favourite SCPL items. As a result, we have also introduced auto-renewals. Eligible items will automatically renew for a week, up to five times, as long as there are no holds on it. If you have opted-in for emails, we will send you an email when your item has been renewed.
You can still manually renew your items. To renew material, call our Automated Telephone and Message Service at 905-687-4832, 24 hours a day from your phone, or visit our catalogue at: http://search.myscpl.ca/

Customers who have registered for receive emails from SCPL will receive hold and renewal notifications via email. Signing up is easy, simply visit the Circulation Desk at any branch or call to let us know your email address.
Please note: We no longer offer pre-overdue noticed. You can check your due date on your due date slip (handed to you upon checkout), on your MySCPL account, or by calling us.
