This online platform allows you to keep track of the books you read and earn points towards great prizes. Registration is now open! Summer Stories ‘N More (Ages 2-5)

Join Miss Karissa on Zoom for 5 weeks of stories, songs, and crafts on Tuesdays, July 21 to August 18 from 10:00 – 10:25 am. Craft packages will be available for registered attendees for pick up at the Central or Merritt libraries the week of July 13. Registration opens Monday, June 29 at 10:00 am. Music of the West African Kora

Banner for the Music of the West African Kora program

Sean Gaskell will give a virtual performance and educational demonstration on the kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa. He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions.
