In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the First World War, the St. Catharines Public Library will continue to host a variety of exciting historical programs related to the conflict. Please join us for a series of fascinating talks as we commemorate the achievements and sacrifices of Canadians in the Great War.

Join Kathleen Powell, Supervisor of Historical Services and Curator of the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre, as she digs a bit deeper into the stories of some of the men from St. Catharines who fought in the First World War. She will discuss who were they, what were their experiences, and how can we continue to remember their names as we move past the 100th anniversary of this world  changing conflict.
