His first book, The Invisible Injured, is the first comprehensive look at how war and peacekeeping trauma has affected Canadian soldiers, from 1914 to the present day. Through exhaustive historical research and interviews with former peacekeepers and Afghanistan War veterans, Adam explores the emotional effects of military operations and the difficulties soldiers face when reintegrating to civilian society.
