Make Movies
Turn your pictures into digital movies and share them with your friends and family. Windows XP includes Windows Movie Maker to convert your digital pictures and videos into movies. You can add music, titles and transitions to make amazing videos.
These videos can be hosted on your website, e-mailed or even burned to DVD or VCD (a regular CD that will play in your home DVD player).
What you need:
- Windows XP (or Mac OSX)
- Digital camera (or a scanner to convert your old pictures to digital) .
- A CD or DVD burner (if you want to burn your movies to disc)
- An Internet connection (if you want to e-mail your movie)

Mac OSX Users
Earlier versions of Mac OSX include iMovie, which is a similar application for creating digital home movies. The latest release of OSX (Tiger) includes iMovie as part of the iLife Application Suite.
Commercial Applications
There are also commercial applications that can be used to create & edit digital movies. These programs are professional-grade applications that allow frame-accurate editing of digital video:
